(from Google)Normally don’t reviews, but this was such a great experience. Everyone was so nice. There was a 2 1/2 hour wait for a dinner table, but they recommended 2 seats available at the bar & even directed and saved it for us. Food was amazing, drinks even better. Great selection. Great location. Will definitely be back for a casual night out or celebrating something special.
Anchor and Brine was an amazing experience from start to finish! We visited during the day, and the atmosphere was so peaceful and relaxing. Sitting by the waterfront made it even better. The seating was comfortable, the bar area was nicely spread out, and the views were beautiful. I can’t wait to come back at night to experience a different vibe. A huge shoutout to our server, Marko! He was absolutely fantastic. He took our pictures, recommended some amazing dishes, answered every question we had, and made us feel completely comfortable with our choices. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and truly made the experience memorable. The blackened Grouper Sandwich was hands down my favorite. The seasoning was perfect, the fish was cooked beautifully, and every bite was packed with flavor. The Truffle Fries were delicious too. My only personal preference was the tartar sauce served with them. The flavor was good, but the texture reminded me a little too much of mustard. I’d definitely order the fries again…just without the sauce. The Fried Calamari surprised me. The pickled chili flavor caught me off guard at first, but after a few bites it completely grew on me. Paired with the sauce, it became one of my favorite appetizers. And those pickles that came with the Grouper Sandwich…WOW! Easily the best pickles I’ve ever had. Whatever they’re soaking them in, keep doing it because they were incredible. The drinks were just as impressive. We had a white wine, an Espresso Martini, and a Lemon Drop Martini. They were beautifully presented, perfectly balanced, and had just the right amount of liquor without overpowering the flavor. Great food, outstanding service, relaxing waterfront views, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back. If you visit, ask for Marko..he’ll take great care of you!
We were in town, and the kids said we had to try Anchor & Brine. They raved about how good it was, and they were not wrong. Sitting out by the water was lovely, and they had live music, a great atmosphere and phenomenal food. Will certainly be back. The Fried Calamari and Oysters were delicious as were the sushi rolls, the Seared Grouper was a huge hit as was the Seafood Pasta. There was so much seafood in there that you were full long before you got to the pasta. Oh, and of course the full bar. Service was great! You will have to Valet and since there was a concert in town they did not validate parking.
Anchor & Brine exceeded our expectations by far. We chose it to celebrate our anniversary, and it was the perfect spot for a special night out. We started with the seafood tower, ceviche, calamari, and truffle fries, and every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The seafood tower was incredible, and the ceviche was definitely a standout. Everything tasted just as good as it looked. What really made the experience special was the service. The hostess and our waitress were both amazing! They were warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind throughout the entire meal. They helped make our anniversary feel a little extra special. Between the excellent food, beautiful waterfront atmosphere, and outstanding service, I would highly recommend Anchor & Brine. As locals, we’re always looking for great places to celebrate special occasions, and this one absolutely delivered. We’ll definitely be back!
Great place by the water. Everything was phenomenal. Some of the best muscles I’ve had. The grouper was fresh and delicious. I opted out of the coconut curry sauce and just had them do it with a simple lemon and butter then use the leftover broth from the mussels and dipped the grouper inside that. Unbelievable. Great drinks great vibe.
