Friendly Tarpon Tavern

Great local spot. Live (acoustic) music on Friday was perfect place to talk on a date. Nice play to watch sports. And the bartender (JJ) had such a lovely smile and great disposition on my 1st visit. Definitely going back again. Maybe been for a laid back date night

One of our favorite local spots. So much so we actually had our rehearsal dinner/welcome drinks for our wedding in the back space. Thomas and JJ were unbelievably helpful during the process from dealing with our vendors , making sure the fridge was fully stocked and helping take everything down at the end. I couldn’t recommend this enough for large gatherings. Everyone loved it. If interested in doing an event just reach out to Thomas and he will take care of you.

I attended a surprise birthday party there two weeks ago and I was amazed at how attentive and friendly the service was. The party area was so clean and the atmosphere was so inviting. The pizza was the best pizza I have had in the Tampa area. There were big TV screens for the sports fanatics and games for all. I highly recommend this place and I can’t wait to go back.

My favorite local dive bar!! Amazing food and drinks, and the staff not only treats you kindly but makes you feel like family. The vibes are immaculate, and there are tons of fun activities to enjoy throughout the week. Pup friendly. Love my Tarpon family!

Great spot!! We chanced upon Friendly tavern on a Saturday evening and thoroughly enjoyed the vibes! The staff was great! And so were the patrons! Lively & fun conversations, nice live music. We enjoyed yummy beers and the Cajun boiled peanuts! They have a pool table & other games. The weather was beautiful too, perfect to sit under the beautiful trees in their outdoor seating area. Fun!!
