(from Google)Great service, stunning interior, delicious food. 10/10 place to bring your friends, family or partner. Robert was an amazing server.
The food was excellent, but our waiter Joseph made the experience 100. Slightly younger than myself, he showed up bald, bearded, and tattooed — ATTEMPTING to imitate my incredible good looks. B+ on the attempt. nice try. Initially enticing me into the restaurant using another party's cake, he somehow disappeared with it, the cake never to be seen again. Fail. Beyond his obvious and flagrant efforts to curry favor with me, who I can only assume to be his new idol, he kept the whole table laughing the whole time. He even let me use the 'big boy knife' when My steak arrived — and since I'm being honest. I did feel a ting of actual accomplishment AND I managed not to hurt myself with it. I'm a 'big boy' indeed! I just needed some encouragement from Joe - joey - joseph. BROseph. Great food, great service, and a waiter with impeccable taste in personal style. Ask for Joseph. Tip him well. He's earned it just picking an AMAZING role model.
Recently rented the private dining room for a family event and we're very pleased with the food and service. We had 25 people in the room which was the maximum, and a few within the bar area for overflow. Only criticism is that we had 1 server for the room, and he did an excellent job given the demand of drinks, and 2 courses of food. Would have been better if he had help, but service was still good in spite of the lack of help. Everyone had drinks, appetizers, salad or soup, and a main entrée. the room had a dessert tray with good variety and the decor was nice. Remember that this location is basically a new restaurant due to a fire a few years ago, so the interior is all new and looks great. Quality of the food was very good, and bar staff were friendly and helpful.
The welcoming staff opening the door upon us entering was exceptional. Greeted quickly, got a table in the bar area on a Wednesday night and it was hopping busy. We enjoyed the lively conversation of all the attendees at the bar as well as a local baseball game exciting for our date night. My husband had the chicken Milanese delicious and well presented. Also the tuna appetizer and the egg rolls both delightful. I had a flatbread with pears, figs and hot honey. Service was outstanding for our dining experience. I’m a member of the fire club too so pineapple upside down cake for dessert for sure! We’ve been dining here for over 20 years and have enjoyed it every single time. Thank you for being consistent with great service and being local in our neighborhood.
They've been redeemed. I have the big plate and the pics, but I served myself on my app plate because that's realistically the amount I'm going to eat while on a glp1. Is it a little less done than mid rare? Yes. Did I also contemplate trying steak tartare earlier? Yes. The flavor on and in the steak is amazing. Is the garlic in the spinach burnt and makes everything bitter? Yes. But my only feedback is don't burn your garlic because it makes it bitter. I sat at the bar. My bartender, Zoey, was amazing. He's running orders, serving food to a full bar he is making everyone else's drinks to run to their tables. He's making sure everyone at the bar is taken care of too, and plugging his wife's nail business and insta by wearing her nails and they're a conversation piece but he's still doing everything all at once while he proudly tells you about how his wife is a talented nail tech and artist. His nails just look so good that it's natural to want to ask him how and who. The flavor is amazing on the food. They have enchanting and skilled staff. I kinda get not wanting to cook beyond a certain doneness as the chef. I'm not certain that the chef didn't just rebel against me ordering a NY Strip before when the ribeye was right there and tasty? Idk. I'll definitely be back here. I didn't tell anyone that the garlic in the spinach was burnt and I didn't give them a chance to "fix" it. I still loved it all. Excellent value for a more upscale steak. This place dry ages for 45 days more upscale places start at a significantly higher price point to age one additional month for the next step up in the dry aging process is putting you at a $100+ steak when there is maybe not a 2x markup on the flavor difference. I adore a steak from a place that has a butcher and connections to the farms and you'll get that here, but maybe not with everything perfect. Avoid putting the burnt garlic in your mouth. It actually gives a kinda bacony smoked flavor to the spinach. My husband got the potatoes au gratin and they had a scalded/burnt flavor. I found it bitter and off-putting, but my husband and others seemed to love it. The Yukon mash was a really great garlic pepper dairy rich ma mash that almost gave me stretchy starch vibes and that just made it seem all the more rich. The pineapple upside down cake was a show stopper! Zoey was sweeter than the desserts menu any day though! I highly recommend this place. You might not get what you exactly ordered, but you'll still love it.
