MacDinton's Irish Pub

We came here after seeing Facebook posts saying this was one of the best places to watch the 2026 World Cup and that it's always been a soccer bar. We were there for the World Cup quarterfinal on Saturday night. The match went into extra time, but around the end of regular time the sound for the game was turned off and replaced with UFC audio. The soccer game stayed on the TVs, but we had to watch the rest of it with UFC commentary instead. When we politely asked if the sound for the World Cup match could be turned back on, security threatened to throw us out. That was surprising and unnecessary. We understand that bars can choose what they show, but based on the way this place promotes itself on Facebook, we expected soccer to be the priority during one of the biggest matches of the tournament. If we had known that the match would lose audio before it was over, we would have chosen a different place to watch.

There needs to be a better dj on the weekends. whoever was playing before like 8pm was amazing, after that it turns into Glorilla and Bad Bunny on a loop. nobody wants that. bring in remixes, old 2000s, drake, and just simply good music. idk what’s happening with bar music lately

Wow, busy busy busy. Went from England to watch the Arsenal game and the fans never bothered to turn up. Got talking to Jarvis the manager (what a great guy) and stayed for the Arsenal game that was on during the Saturday Paddy's Day hoo haa. Great pub, great staff and when you spend +$250 on beer you get good service.. Don't forget the food. Again on recommendation of Jarvis in I went for for the Reuben Sandwich which was exquisite to say the least and the Corned Beef was to die for.

I have had nothing but a grand time at MacDintons. I am a frequent patron. Matt one of the bartenders is a terrific lad. Shannon is phenomenal at Karaoke, and is warm and welcoming at the bar. Jay, one of the security guards is extremely kind hearted, and ensures the safety of the patrons here. Cam was so kind to me at the bar, and always served me with a lovely smile. I ordered three different beers on tap and they were all the same. They all tasted like vanilla. Super weird. I asked the waitress the check the taps and she said no. Otherwise I really like the atmosphere for Sunday football games. I would just recommend getting a bottle of beer instead of a tap.
