My coffee tasted like straight milk. I came an hour before close and the staff seemed very unwelcoming a coffee shop stop serving black coffee after two, which doesn’t make sense to me. We asked about a chai latte and they Annoyingly told us that it would take 10 minutes no welcoming service not good coffee if you want good coffee go to Dunkin or Starbucks even if you don’t like it it’s better coffee than what there is here and better service I would 100% not come back. I didn’t add any extra milk or anything. I just got a regular latte. I’m currently at Starbucks getting myself a new coffee because it was so bad.

This is one of my favorite places to relax, it’s where I bring my laptop, enjoy a delicious coffee, and spend the morning chatting with friends after the gym. The coffee is amazing, the service is so friendly, everyone is so nice! They bring your food and coffee right to your table. The place is very clean, cozy, and of course, I will keep coming back!

Today was my first visit to Grind Coffee Bar, and it will probably be my last. The place itself isn’t bad overall, but the service experience was extremely frustrating. We chose to sit on the patio and waited for nearly 30 minutes without a single employee checking on our table. The line inside was all the way to the door, so at first we assumed someone would eventually come by, take our order, or at least acknowledge us. Instead, we watched multiple tables on both sides of us receive service while our table was completely ignored. Eventually, we ordered through the QR code on the menu. What wasn’t clear is that QR code orders are apparently treated exactly like takeout orders. When our first item was ready, it was handed to us in a plastic container inside a bag. We explained that we were dining in, not taking food to go. I specifically asked a staff member named Graham if the remaining 3 dishes could simply be served on regular plates. He told me “that wasn’t possible and that QR code orders automatically come in to-go containers”. That explanation made very little sense considering we were sitting at a table in the restaurant. A few minutes later, one of my friends flagged down another server, who had no issue arranging for the food to be served on actual plates. That inconsistency was honestly mind-blowing. To make things even stranger, one coffee arrived in a ceramic mug while the rest came in disposable to-go cups. Nothing about the service felt organized or logical. As for the food, it was fine. Not bad, but nothing particularly memorable or worth making a special trip for. Given that I drove about an hour and paid tolls to visit, I definitely won’t be making that drive again. I understand places get busy, but basic service still matters. If you’re asking customers to tip when ordering through a QR code, serving dine-in food on actual plates instead of plastic takeout containers doesn’t seem like an unreasonable expectation. There are simply too many other coffee shops with better service for me to return. 3 stars because the atmosphere was decent and the food was okay, but the service was disappointing from start to finish.

Great local spot for breakfast & lunch with plenty of gluten free options and indoor or outdoor seating. Its counter service walk up and order which is fine but no real table service. I had a cortado w/ almond milk which was more like an espresso than a cortado but was good. Next time I will try something different, the iced coffee looked good. For breakfast I tried the avacado stack with gluten free bread. The bread was thick and delicious compared to most GF breads. I would order this again. The breakfast potatoes were seasoned perfectly & a great combination.

By far my favorite coffee place in the Tampa Bay area! Every single person who works here is incredibly kind and always greets me with a smile. I come here often as a regular, and the coffee is consistently amazing and tastes great every time. The prices are unbeatable, which makes it even better. Even when there is a line, they are always quick and efficient. They truly treat everyone so well and make you feel welcome. I highly recommend this coffee shop to anyone looking for great coffee and even better service!
