(from Google)Such a phenomenal restaurant with beautiful views and seafood plucked from right outside. The oysters here were perfect along with the Eastern shore Sandy. Our waiter was making sure we were completely satisfied and made sure we knew all the menu favorites. I forget his name but we were here at 4pm 12/1/2025. Love this place love the service. Love IT
Our family is big, and it’s not always easy finding a place that can accommodate all of us but this restaurant did it perfectly! From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, patient, and incredibly organized. The service was quick, the food was delicious, and everyone made us feel right at home. We truly appreciate how smoothly everything went. This is definitely our new go-to spot for family gatherings! They even took pictures for us.
If you’re looking for a classic crab shack vibe with a nice lake view, Bubba’s is the place to go. It’s your standard, traditional seafood spot you’d expect to find in Virginia Beach. The flavors are good and perfect for a casual date night, but nothing particularly wow that makes you crave it again and again. What really makes Bubba’s great is the value. Prices are reasonable, the seafood is fresh, and the laid-back atmosphere hits that nostalgic, local favorite feel. I keep coming back for the memories and to support a hometown staple. 8/10.
Nora was so friendly and welcoming. The food was really good, and the service was even better. We placed an order at the bar. The service was quick and efficient. My group ordered raw oysters, oysters Rockefeller, hush puppies, and a classic burger with slaw. I loved the sauce for the slaw! Everything was delicious. The burger was cooked perfectly! We truly loved the personal care the service team provided.

The food was delicious and fresh, with generous portions and great variety. On top of that, the service was attentive, friendly, and truly exceptional.
