(from Google)We came to Pinchers while visiting the area. First, they gave excellent service within an hour of closing. We sat at the bar and Kai was wonderful. His drinks were on point in addition to his descriptions of the food. (We were not familiar with the chain). The experience was great. (Ladies the restrooms were clean). Two 👍🏽 up.
I ate here for the first time today and unfortunately left pretty disappointed. On the positive side, the restaurant itself had a large, diverse menu and the staff was genuinely friendly and attentive throughout the visit, which I really appreciated. Service was not the issue at all. The problem was the food. I ordered the grouper and it tasted like it had been frozen for a long time and just didn’t have that fresh, flaky quality you’d expect—especially at a seafood-focused restaurant. It was pretty underwhelming overall. The sides didn’t help much either. I tried the garlic mashed potatoes, but they were overwhelmingly strong—almost nothing but garlic with no balance—so they were difficult to finish. Overall, great service and atmosphere, but the food quality just didn’t match the expectations.
It was a beautiful night to sit outside and eat and and there was live music. Our server was Taylor, she was super nice but did have to be reminded and or corrected of a few thing throughout the evening. Food was tasty!
Pinchers at Wiregrass in Wesley Chapel has truly become a go-to spot for my wife and me—a place where we can step away from the pace of the week and just enjoy each other’s company over consistently great food. We find ourselves coming back multiple times a week, and it never feels repetitive—it feels like a reset. The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming, and perfect whether we’re stopping in for a quick lunch or settling in for a slower, more enjoyable dinner. The corn chowder is something we genuinely look forward to every time. It’s rich, hearty, and full of flavor—comfort in a bowl. The fried shrimp is just as impressive, always cooked perfectly with that ideal balance of crispiness on the outside and tenderness on the inside. And the drinks? Always on point. Whether we’re in the mood for something refreshing or just a simple pairing with our meal, it always hits. What really elevates the experience, though, is the staff. The waitstaff is consistently attentive, friendly, and dialed in. They anticipate what you need without hovering, and they make you feel like a valued regular even if it’s your first visit. That level of service makes a big difference and keeps us coming back. The portions are also perfectly balanced—enough to leave you satisfied, but never excessive. It shows thoughtfulness in how they present their meals. And I have to say this with full confidence—as a certified Maryland crab cake expert 8-)—these crab cakes are the real deal. You’re getting real crab, not filler-packed shortcuts. That alone earns major respect in my book. All in all, Pinchers at Wiregrass has become more than just a restaurant for us—it’s our spot. Great food, great service, and a consistently enjoyable experience every single time.
We really enjoyed our lunch at Pinchers. They have a great seafood dip with tortilla chips that was delicious. Not sure if it was the time we went or not but our waitress did seem a little busy even though there weren't many people there, and it took a while before we were able to order but, it could've just been a one off. Will definitely go back because we enjoyed the seafood and want to try the drinks at the bar.
