(from Google)App to pay to park is glitchy because cell service was not very good. Nice trails! Better marking at service road would be less confusing.
Great hiking trails, campgrounds, and river views. Store and museum on site
absolutely beautiful at golden hour. clean facilities and bathrooms. one trail with boardwalk is blocked off, but the grassy trails are very wide and accessible. several spots that would be magical for a picnic. I love this park because it doesnt feel crowded even though there was a huge baby shower going on! plenty of space and it still feels very comfortable.
I absolutely loved this park. It has a huge trail as well as many spots to stop and see the water. We all had a beautiful time here seeing the trees and nature. Bathrooms are clean and plenty of parking.
Went out today on a day off to enjoy the beautiful cooler weather in nature. Havent been to this park in a while and wasn't disappointed. Beautiful trails and gorgeous huge oak trees. Saw several squirrels, heard a cardinal and sat on a bench looking out over the river. What a gorgeous day to get out in nature. We walked about 3 miles. Thank you Lee County for preserving such a beautiful area. 3 trails to choose from and even a nice trail along the river.
