(from Google)★★★★★ Lakeside Park is one of the nicest spots in the community. It's always clean, peaceful, and a great place to take a walk, relax by the water, or spend time with family and friends. On beautiful afternoons, it feels like the kind of place where everyone gathers to enjoy the day and make lasting memories. The walking paths and scenery are excellent, and the sunsets over the lake are hard to beat. Whatever magic they use to keep this place looking so good, it's working. Lakeside Park is a true gem and one of the reasons we love living here.
This is just the small dog side. Its clean and a well kept area. There’s a poop bag station and a watering hose with a bowl in both the small and large dog pens
Shines! isn't just a playground; it’s fantastic hub of childhood joy and activity** that our family absolutely adores! From the moment we arrive, the **energy is infectious**. Children of all ages are buzzing with excitement, exploring the **incredibly diverse range of equipment**. What truly sets it apart is the **thoughtful design**. There’s a **perfectly shaded toddler area** with safe, engaging structures where little ones can climb and slide confidently. For older adventurers, the **dynamic climbing frames, thrilling slides (the twisty one is a huge hit!), and challenging monkey bars** provide endless fun and physical challenge. The **spacious, well-maintained swings** are always popular, and we love the **inclusive elements** like the accessible merry-go-round and sensory panels, ensuring everyone can join in. The **surrounding space is equally impressive**. Plentiful, comfortable benches under shady trees allow parents and caregivers to relax (and maybe enjoy a coffee!) while keeping a watchful eye. The **cleanliness is notable**, with well-kept grounds and regularly maintained equipment, speaking volumes about the care put into this space. Ample parking and nearby restrooms add to the convenience. Whether it’s a quick energy burn or a long, sunny afternoon picnic, consistently delivers. It fosters imagination, encourages active play, and simply **radiates happiness**. It’s become our absolute go-to spot for guaranteed smiles and tired, content kids at the end of the day. **Highly recommend visiting – it’s a true community gem!**
The dog park is fenced in with a medium to large dogs on one side and small to puppies on another side. Mind you, this is for the community people that live there, so it's locked. You need an ID badge to open the gate. They have a hose to fill up water in the dog bowls, bathe/rinse your dog if they got dirty, and there are dog toys that get left there. I've bought a few dog balls & just left them there for other dogs to enjoy. There are bathrooms, water fountains, & playgrounds along with the splash pad. Many chairs to sit, hammocks, & a few tables. Splash pad for kids.
Such a great splash pad for kids and park options, only about half is covered in shade. So bring a hat and sunscreen. Restrooms on site and some sitting space; such a nice place for families to hang out.
