Falconhead West Primitive Park

Google maps says 24 hours, but they lock the gate from dusk to dawn. You'll get a ticket and have to wait for the next day to get your vehicle out. At least they didn't tow my car away. Otherwise great scenery and fun hiking trails.

Really good place for spend time with family and friends

Variety of intertwined trails. Rocky in places and a little bit of elevation changes. I have bad knees so stayed on the flatter parts. Really enjoyed about an hour hike with my border collie. I got slightly lost but google maps got me back to the parking area.

Nice park, overlook views, tranquil trails! There is a thin creek, it had water in it, also a nice little parking lot at entrance. Please try to avoid bringing litter into the park area.

Love this trail! The day I went it was too hot, but that was my bad. It's a dirt trail winding through the greenbelt. There are so many places you can pretend you are in the country when in reality, you're very near homes. I like that the trail has markers, so if you're out alone and need help, you can pinpoint where you are. I'm definitely going to be returning for more hikes.
