This place is awesome, great fishing, great trails, an awesome waterfall. It wasn't crowded in the late afternoon. Lots of shade on the trails. If you're looking for fishing go down to the bottom of the dam and keep walking, and if you want even more seclusion, cross the creek and go even farther. Gorgeous views. Good size bass and sunfish. 10/10 will come back here frequently. P.S. if you travel along the river coming off the dam there are snakes. We saw 4 or 5 in the water and theyre fast. We couldn't tell what they were but dont risk getting bit! Wear good shoes even in the water!

Cute place. I tried couple of the trails. They are short but nice. The stairs made for a great workout. Not much signage but whomever wrote directions on the bench and tree THANK YOU!!! I hope people would clean up after themselves to keep the area clean.

Chalk Ridge Falls Park is such a great spot, especially if you have kids who like to explore. The creek is beautiful. The limestone base makes the water crystal clear, so you can see straight to the bottom, and it’s constantly flowing which keeps it looking and feeling really clean. It’s the kind of creek that just makes you want to get in and walk upstream. And the waterfall is the real deal. Not a little damp rock wall — an actual waterfall you can hike right up to and climb around. That alone makes this park feel pretty special. Our kids spent most of their time wading through the creek, climbing the limestone shelves, and looking for fossils. There are fossils everywhere if you slow down and start looking, which turned the whole hike into a treasure hunt. The trails are scenic and very manageable for families, and the whole place is just a fun mix of hiking, water, and exploring. We’ll definitely be back. It’s the kind of place kids remember.

This is a nice park. Not much there. It does have restrooms. The trail to the falls is short and fairly easy. Signage leaves a lot to be desired. No trail maps available. There was a dead dog in one of the ponds near the falls. And some trash on the trails. Hated seeing that. Tried to pick up some of it.

Beautiful park. Trails are poorly marked, if at all. Someone wrote on a bench with marker indicating the way to the falls, which is one of the reasons I found them. Falls are small but beautiful. Definitely need trails maps to stay on track. Restroom was a glorified porta-potty basically. No soap to wash hands. Bring hand sanitizer if you need to use them. Would explore more of the area next time.
