First yes the highway is close and during the day can be heard. It’s quiet at night. Let’s move on. I booked a site number 33. I show up and there is an issue. I came a weekend early by mistake. From Ranger Gina to the staff to even the fellow campers everyone bent over backwards to accommodate us on a very busy holiday weekend. We received a spot #12 flatter than what I booked. Gina checked with us like a gracious host!!! The showers/bathrooms stayed spotless. No rowdy late night troubles great place to camp. Beautiful marina I enjoyed watching the boat traffic come and go.

The campground is fantastic all around, and easily has the nicest restrooms of any state park in Tennessee. All sites have a firepit and a grill! The marina and lake access is well designed, and as a whole, the park is organized and clean. I highly recommend visiting.

We had a great time at Paris landing. We rented a three bedroom cabin and it was perfect for our two families. Easy hiking trails, fun beach area, playground, and there’s basketball and tennis courts! Don’t miss out on this gem. Plenty to see and do for a fun long weekend. Go into Paris and head to the Eiffel Tower park! Too fun.

Outstanding experience at Paris Landing SP! The lodge was beautiful! The rooms were very clean. When our refrigerator was not working properly, we were given a new one within 20 minutes. Excellent service! The breakfast was very tasty and sitting in the lobby was very relaxing. We enjoyed the trails also! We attended a program at the nature center and loved hearing about the hawk and seeing her being fed. All around a 5 star experience!

I stayed in RV spot #2 for 3 nights towards the end of October. It was very quiet and not very busy. Site was almost level. I might not choose this site in the summer due to lack of shade and being next to the volleyball net etc. It was a short walk to the marina and to the trails. The raptor trail is a pleasant, easy one, about 2.55 miles out and back. I didn’t go inside the lodge & restaurant but the building looks very nice from outside.
