(from Google)Place for adults to barbecue with friends. Also, Great and safe for kids to play with new equipment. Areas for tennis, basketball, or just to sit and relax watching the kids play...I strongly recommend this park to enjoy. Always water and restrooms for male n females.
My kids and I love the new updated playground at Jim Jeffers! All the new structures are awesome! My only complaint is that they didn't extend the shaded areas for the whole playground. It's great in the winter and fall, but we definitely won't be able to go in the summer, or even late spring, with no shade.
Pretty good park overall! Although when it was under construction, there tended to be more adults there. When me and my friends were there for the tennis court (2-5 PM) while it was under construction, I could smell smoke from the basketball court and music blasting. I don’t suggest going while it’s under maintenance, haha. When it finished with renovations, it was bustling again.
When it comes to the playground, restroom and covered facilities, I can honestly say it’s the best park to let your kids run around at, plenty of shade for the play equipment, it’s all fenced in with seating for the adults. I’ve been to every park in Cape with my daughter and this is the best.
Great large, accessible playground that is completely fenced in. Lots of swings and two neat double swings for adult + baby. Playground doesn’t have enough shade though. Bathrooms and covered area with picnic tables beside the playground. Soccer fields, tennis courts, and basketball courts too. Great park for kids of all ages!! Only con was it’s right beside Oasis school and tons of school age children (eg over 50 at a time) came throughout the few hours we were there. Not sure if this is normally the case.
