(from Google)Thinking about going camping here. I rode my motorcycle around, touring the amenities and seeing 👀 if the were available camping sites. Bathroom and shower areas were clean, but I forgot to check ✔️ the water pressure 🙃 of the shower 🚿. There is an RV dump station that id easy to use, and a water refill station, too. Sites had 120v 30 amp connection and water hookup. On a Monday night, there were only 3 available sites, so I'm guessing weekend will be full, so come early, or miss out.
I was visiting from out of state and I brought my dog to the off leash dog area (first parking lot on the left when you roll into the park and you cross the bridge - see photos) The dog area is well maintained with LARGE walking paths. We didn’t see another person/dog while we were out there walking. two cautions: - I did find one tick on the top coat of my dog when we got back to hotel but that’s to be expected out in nature (I didn’t bring his tick repellent with me). - If you don’t trust your dog off leash then this isn’t the place for you…the fence doesn’t surround the whole area so lots of places for them to runaway from you. There’s fences along the roads though!
This is the best Environment for dogs, kids, Families and singles. A great place to connect with the Community and Nature
Great park with exceptional and amusing playgrounds for kids of all ages. There’s also picnic spot and campground for family gatherings. I would rate it to be one of the best parks around! Would come back whenever I have a chance!
We went to the park while traveling for baseball. My two youngest children absolutely loved it. There were a lot of different unique parts of the park, that we had never seen anywhere else before. It's even big enough for adults to climb on and still have room to move. We would definitely recommend checking it out!
