I rented the Berewick Park shelter for my son's high school graduation party. He went to Berewick Elementary growing up so I thought it would be a sweet moment celebrating there. Access to the shelter is horrible. There is a walkway/road near the shelter that was locked and all my guest had to climb over/under it or walk all around the park to get to the shelter. I called the park ranger to unlock the gate and they said they couldn't because the walkway/road is a service road for staff only. I didn't know this when I rented because everytime I saw the park (years ago) the gate was open. So my team and I struggled to carry supplies for my party either around the park or climb over the locked gate. My 85 year old grandma had to walk around because she couldn't climb the gate of the service road (which was closest to the shelter). The accessibility of this shelter was very inconvenient.

It’s nice park but unfortunately they didn’t let my son to play cause many school kids played. They say it’s school private property. So please write at the entrance private property forbidden for public.

The park was BEAUTIFUL. I took my soon to be 2 yr old grandson there and he had a ball. We couldn't play on a lot because he was scared but loved the open field. There was a soccer field and a walking path. I felt safe. I will be going back.

Great park but watch out for the red mud. There was a light drizzle when I went with my 7yr old son. We tried our best to avoid the mud but it was impossible. I can imagine a sunny day being dusty. Nice park just don't go there 1st if you have other plans or your kid may need a change of shoes. Just something to keep in mind.

This park is beautiful. Son said "it had places to play, smooth sidewalks for scooters and a little smiggy nice view of cars. Soccer field was pretty nice and I was able to kick a soccer ball just once" Also, try to abide by the many park rules and if others are unable to ... try and give a helping hand.
