(from Google)Dawn MON 2025.06.23, "squeezed" an ~3+ mile Loop (Seversville Park, Martin Luther King Park, and Five Points Park) before going to the "nearby" Mecklenburg County Tax Office. Saw only (total) 6 people at the Parks; wwll-maintained and clean. Also, the neighborhood was generally clean, but for some litter along the roadsides.

Small park, but connected to a cool greenway/path
If you don't know where this park is, you will need to turn on maps! Great otherwise, nice walking area, has a play ground, picnic areas; and picnic tables that are wheelchair friendly! See photo, I had never seen or even thought about such a thing, good idea though.
Beautiful peaceful trail that you can walk on straight to downtown.
