(from Google)Very pretty but you cant reach the lake, its surrounded by marsh and the walking trail is very short. Good for picnics and party's though.
This could be a beautiful little park with a nice walking path BUT nobody is taking care of it. The path is dangerous and the only section of any distance is closed due to the horrible condition of the path. There was trash everywhere. It looked like the trashcans haven't been emptied in months so trash was all over the place. It is sad bc it could have been a pleasant place to a nice stroll around the water. There were no restrooms or even port-a-potties.
Nice park to fish , exercise, and picnic. It just needs to be better maintained. Pathways have overgrowth and litter all around the park and people bring their dogs and don’t even bother to clean up after the mess. Unfortunately, it appears that the closed area is now deemed private property and has been cleared for other purposes.
Such a great park to learn about some history and get nature in! Trails to walk, jog and ride your bike . The trails are not very long, but the scenery is beautiful.
Lovely intimate park perfect for grilling and fishing but please be aware that there are snake and alligator warnings in certain areas. The park also has a few fitness activities, and the path is pretty good for a nice jog around a few times. Permitted that it's not crowded.
