(from Google)Elijah Bristow was really cool. The park is decently well maintained although I did not go in any bathrooms. The trails were pretty, lots of cool nature stuff in late winter/early spring. I thought this moss was pretty cool 😎
Love the trails here! One of our favorite local spots to get the horses out. This park is getting more use in recent years and the trails are shared use, but we've never had a problem. There are only a few trails that are hikers only, so lots of miles to take your horse out. The parking lot is big with plenty of space to tow your trailer in without issues. There's a warm up round pen and lots of features to work your horses with.
Beautiful Park a Whole Lot of Green. Lots of Trails and Some Just to Get Lost on and Enjoy Your Surroundings. Has Restrooms, Picnic Tables and Barbeques Has Huge Open Areas Dogs are Welcome with a Leash. Horses are Allowed on the Trails Such an Awesome Nature Area Close by River, and Creeks, and Some Ponds Its Worth the Stop to Check it Out Its Off of Highway 58
This is a fee free huge Beautiful Park!!! Tons of trails and picnic areas!!! Saw some of people fishing as well as hiking and even saw horseback riders!!! But not crowded in any way. Go all the way in the back there's lots of room for bigger rigs ( like my 32ft Skoolie). The bathrooms were amazingly clean and looked brand new!! My leashed dog's enjoyed their walks as we spent a couple hours there to unwind.
So much room at this place. There is an equestrian area so there can be quite a few people walking around on horses. Great access to the river and Lost Creek. There are some picnic tables available and also bathrooms. Plenty of different parking spots. Great to check out all times of the year. Please respect nature and help preserve these places for future generations. Please don't litter and if you see trash pick it up.
