Veterans Park

We loved it !!! So many slides for my little one and the equipment is clean and not covered in graffiti like other playgrounds. I wish there were some baby swings or regular swings for the kids though. Some running water in the foutain would be nice for hydration for pets or children. I would give it a better rating if we had more equipment like a merry go round or swings. Another thing is just some park maintenance like a refill of mulch to prevent the big puddles of water when it rains.

Nice park, lots of activities

This park is ok if you are under 10 years old otherwise don't waste your time. If you have dogs DO NOT GO. Even less for them to do.

Needs to be updated and have more for the kids to enjoy. Animal spring ride ons, were completely outdated a couple of them had a hard lean to the side almost touching the ground. meaning there very old and come up from the base mount. Wood chips had look like they've never be top off with fresh one in years. Only two tables and a water fountain that was there was for looks, would be nice to have some kind of running water for mishaps or accidents or pets. I feel like it's a beautiful thing having a park in your own community but I think we should have a little more to show for. my kids love going there but get bored very easily and up not staying long, we would most likely end up going to Mercer park, which now we have to get in the car and drive. Sometimes and inconvenience. If we can't get the street right then give us a better and updated park. There is water at the bottom of one side why not make a trail (fishing, hiking ) set up a spot for charcoal bbq, new netting for tennis courts, bigger play ground for the space that's there and the taxes we pay. Nice local neighborhood park for the kids; however older kids can sometime dampen the mood with not being polite and courteous to the surrounding other kids...
