(from Google)Great running loop, dog friendly, but one area is poorly lit so avoid a night
Nice open spaces with grass and pavilion areas. Only downside is that the playground canopy was not there. I can only assume damaged in the classic El Paso wind. But it makes the slides and jungle gym hot to the touch during the summers. Also, no restrooms
Small but beautiful little park. This park is one of the few that has the playground area shaded! Shaded playgrounds are not the normal in El Paso even though it should be. Ahhh....My childhood.... I recall 3rd degree burns from metal slides and swings that were sent forth from the pits of hell growing up. This quaint little setup even has rubberized walkways and mulch cushioning the inevitable falls, faceplants & spills from young ones while they learn about the joys of inertia. The grass was greenish, and still plentiful. Trees are mature and offer a much needed escape from sunlight. Nice job here!
Is it very quiet empty open park with several pine trees in lots of grass. Good views of the mountains imand the sky. Beautiful at sunrise and sunset. Good place to observe Smstars later at night.
Nice park and a beautiful view of the mountains.
