Hawkins Heights Park

Very relaxing

Nice clean and well maintained. Plus the views of the city are spectacular

Neighborhood park. Dog friendly. Unfortunately, our dog sometimes picks up some burrs in his fur here. It would be good if it was mowed more. It's nice that someone put a couple of chairs under the trees for resting in the shade. Our dog likes it a lot in spite of the burrs.

Enjoyed the city put some native vegetation but trails need some work

It’s so peaceful, without anything but the “track,” that my own mother used to run around, even before the dog-park aspect, while my little sister and I payed in the tall grasses. Fast forward a few decades and now I take my own daughters there (our cat missed its unofficial dog park designation, and follows us much to the dog owners disbeliefu) and we have our own magical moments without anything to play on but our two feet! It’s just a magically unstressed viewpoint at sunset.
