(from Google)It’s a small park with nothing but gravel and no trees. Would never bring my dog here in the heat of the summer
My dog loves this place. Plenty of room to run around, and, usually, a lot of tennis balls to play with. The gravel ground makes it easy to pick up waste , there are bags available most of the times. There are a few benches for the humans to sit. To keep in mind: in the winter there is no water at the park, so plan ahead and bring some for your canine :).
Well-maintained, medium-size park with ample parking and portajohn facilities on site. Kind of out of the way, surrounded by some nice fields. Appeared to have water stations but they were not working. Of course, it's the people and pups that make or break the experience, and it was a good crew this visit!
A very attractive and well maintained park for dogs. The City of Fairfax had done an amazing job to transform part of the original Westmore Elementary School into a lovely place for dogs. The park is located at the edge of Chestnut Street and Berry Street near ALDI. It’s also a very popular for neighborhood activities in the surrounding open space with playground and baseball field.
Very nice dog park, including an enclosure covered in a sand/small gravel mix. Water is available and all entrances are double-gated to test dogs for compatibility before entering. I've visited here about 15 times and most of the dogs and people are very nice. There's plenty of parking most of the time. Finally, clean-up supplies (plastic bags and covered trash cans) are also supplied for any waste removal. I hope I'll see you there! Recommended!
