Great hiking trails with varying levels of difficulty. Enjoy native Texas flora and fauna. There are benches and picnic tables placed along the trails to have a nice picnic or just enjoy a view of the lake. Highly recommend.

This is my most favorite trail in all of Ft Worth. It’s so beautiful here. The trails seem natural enough with the rougher terrains & elevations. My favorite trail is the Main Park Trail in red going into the Shoreline Trail in orange. I highly recommend starting with the Overlook Trail though because you can see a view of the lake & see other parts of the trail you may end up at later. I’ve seen so much nature and wildlife here. The springtime is the best time to go. If you come here after it rains, wear shoes you don’t care about because you’ll have to do some parkour around some of the mud. BIKERS & PETS NOT ALLOWED ON THE TRAIL. It’s honestly one of the perks in my opinion. You will be fined. Just a heads up!

Such a great place to go hiking. The trails are easy to navigate. There are several options as far as distance. The fact they make a loop helps as well. The trails are well taken care of. There is restroom facilities at the trail head and benches along the trail to sit. All trains are marked and there are maps along the way to help you navigate.

Great spread of trails to get your blood going. We stayed along the Purple/Yellow trail that presents you with mixed terrain/elevation and a couple scenic views. The trail was easy to follow but I usually recommend taking a pic of the tail map as a habit. Nothing super extraordinary here but also no charge for parking/entrance. It was an hour well spent.

Beautifully serene woodland area adjacent to Eagle Mountain Lake in Fort Worth. Scenic walking trails that vary nicely between casual, intermediate, and somewhat challenging. Love it!
