(from Google)Love this park and happy that they have been able to get the yellow trail back up and running after the construction of the school and community center across the street. Recently spoke woth someone who mentioned that the blue trail was considered for demolition in the past, but was saved. So glad that we still have all our trails!
Love the trails to go on walks. It’s family friendly and a great space to enjoy the outdoors without going too far from home!
Great place to walk. Safe, quiet and picturesque. We had an absolutely gorgeous day with no humidity, blue skies and sun and the temperature was just right. If it had been hotter or humid we would have felt it because there is very little shade. There are a few different paths you can take, most of the walk being flat but if you veer off you can catch some hills as well. Definitely coming back again.
We love this park. Red trail is just over 2 miles and has nice hills. Yellow trail is also just over two miles and is flatter. Blue trail is a comfortable .6 miles. Look for the nice family photo bench on the yellow trail (see my photos).
So glad there is new walking park in Fuquay-Varina. It has rolling hills and is very scenic ! Three different trails that can total 5 miles for a great workout . I really enjoyed walking here . There was a lot of people using the trails but not crowded. A large group of women had just finished a workout with a trainer . Plenty of open space as it used to be a gold course.
