My son and I are in a way, active explorers. We go and find parks to play at. When I saw this one on the map, i noticed that it was surrounded by houses, so I was weary and skeptical that it was a public park. When we went, to my surprise, there was a big sign that said oak creek park was ran by goose creek. Needless to say we had a blast! It’s a hidden gem, not a known public park, you’re almost guaranteed to play alone in peace

I’ve not seen anyone use this small playground/park tucked away in the Oakbrook subdivision off of Old Plantation Road in Goose Creek. It does need cleaned up a little, especially the sand box areas that has weeds growing out of the sandbox. It’s not easily accessible from the street, and the main entrance does have a sign but in the rear entrance there’s nothing.

The park is very convenient for those living in the surrounding neighborhood. However there aren't any benches under the awning or a volleyball net anymore. They haven't been replaced in years but the equipment was replaced some time ago so while it isn't super new it's better than what it was previously.

Park equipment is a little dated, but it is a nice big area to run around in and is secluded from the road. There is a covered area, but no seating.
