Beautiful view of mt hood, mt Adam's and other mountain ranges from the view point aswell as some brief history about the clackamas people when natives were active there. Saw some rabbits while there too. Good place for a little picnic/lunch or to go hiking on the many trails in the area. Surprisingly theres a good amount of picnic tables

Gorgeous views! There’s a short steep section at the front where you walk on the road, cars can proceed up to the top of the butte for drop off or for ADA parking. The loop trail is all nicely paved with interpretive signs. On a clear day the views are incredible! I’m so happy to see such a beautiful area made so accessible.

Nice and quiet butte park right outside aportland. The walk up is not that bad. Signs about the buttes and cones were helpful and educational. Just the view of Mount Hood from here is worth it. I went towards sunset. Worth it indeed!

Beautiful trails and vistas! We found some real hills so bring water and be prepared! Snacked on some wild raspberries too. Yum!

The paved trail is handicap friendly, as is the parking lot with nothing but 3 handicap parking spots. If you are not handicap, however, you're supposed to park near the historical house, and walk up the steep hill. This is such a cute, small area with a curvy, paved trail leading up to the viewpoint. It was too hazy to see much of the mountains and the trees have grown quite tall. I plan to come back on a clearer day and see the real view. The park is clean and well taken care of.
