(from Google)On Sunday afternoon We drove to Woodlawn Beach ⛱️ to begin with but saw NO swimming sign at the entrance 🏊♀️ (Here parking is $ 7.00) So GPS to nearest beach, ended up to Hamburg one, Not super busy, little dirty water but swimming under life guard signs...🏊♀️ fine. At the entrance window wave to ticket counter about parking she wave to keep going without hesitate. went to beach swimming for couple hours coming back.. see Hamburg police officer dropped parking ticket to atleast 6-7 cars 😑 I questioned officer about the rules and sign?... he's like this is not public parking.. which is ok. But where to pay? And we got approved to keep going from window so what are you talking about...🙄 I wouldn't mind to pay $$ but without any payment box/sign just drop ticket.? NOT FAIR. Get the meters like downtown locations does or have Parking ticket 🎟 counters at the entrance window. If anyone is driving to this beach ⛱️ Please careful parking guys. Besides parking... it was a fun day.
Very local beach. Dont even try to drive here with no local permit. Walk, taxi or bicycle but no drive on private vehicle. As a result - not so many crowds on the beach. The beach is small with couple watchtower for the safety of swimmers, restaurant, few parking lots and spectacular sunset. Sunset is almost every giving day.
A wonderful get-away spot that is right in the town. Beautiful and relaxing beach to just walk or lay around on. Love seeing the city of Buffalo skyline and windmills beyond the water. The seagulls are a delight to walk among. They are so used to being around people. The only downside was it was a little too crowded during quarantine time. We kept out distance and didn't stay there too long for safety reasons.
Very beautiful view. I walked with a friend and found some cool rocks! It's also fun to walk on the rocks and skip small rocks in the water. The parking lot is huge. I really enjoyed my time there and would go again for sure.
A good beach . Less crowd. we play soccer there when we go. This is not a purely sandy beach - lots of pebbles and stones lying alone near the water. The sunset as you can see in the pictures I have posted is really beautiful. It can get very here too, somedays , so no voleyballs I guess.
