(from Google)A powerful reminder that nature has been here long before us and will persist for eons post. We stayed a while and just enjoyed the beauty of the rushing water. If you bring pets, please be mindful that there is shards of glass here and there from self absorbed folks who cant seem to find the trash cans right there, we had to put shoes on our pups as one sliced their paw open within the parking area alone. Just be careful, especially if you venture into the river, it is unpredictable and quite powerful as far as currents go. There is signage to not swim for these reason, I'd encourage a trip to Amidon or the Shut Ins if you want safe but natural swimming holes.
Nice Free Beach for all ages. Great place for relaxing, kids to play in the sand, swimming, picnic, grill, fishing, or taking instagram pictures. I like that there's police supervising the area to make sure people are following the rules like keeping the place clean and etc.
It was very beautiful and a cool place to take kids to splash in the water. I don't understand why there needs to be a police presence. They were there the entire time that we were, and periodically, they would drive through the parking lot. It made me question if this place is dangerous or if a lot of shenanigans go on here often. The bathrooms were completely disgusting as well.
Beautiful place, swim at your own risk. The only downside is trash that people leave behind.
The first time I visited this park was on a weekend. Someone was collecting a fee. I went for the second time on a Monday and nobody was there to collect fee. This park is not that wide nor have more views for photographers. Here are some shots I took and it’s the best part of the park.
