(from Google)Seven Islands State Birding Park is one of our favorite parks to visit when in Sevierville and we have walked most of the trails. The park has plenty of parking with picnic areas, paved, dirt and mowed grass trails, and restrooms. There are a wide variety of species of birds particularly during migration. There is a small playground. Dogs need to be on a leash.
This park is really lovely. The main path is paved for a large distance. There are multiple accessible picnic tables for wheelchair users. There is a slide and wooden bird's nest for kids to play with. The bridge is very long and fun to look over. We saw lots of wonder birds and a bunch of deer. There is a bathroom at the beginning of the trial and a cute barn with information about birds.
My new favorite place! It is absolutely gorgeous and each trail has something unique and beautiful to offer. So many birds and deer! The best part is all you can hear is the beautiful sounds of birds and wind...no cars. This place is truly a gem and I hope we can protect more places like this. We also did a medicinal and edible plant foraging tour and ranger Claire was wonderful and I learned a lot. I will be spending a good amount of my time here! Also lots of places along trails for picnics and enjoying nature.
This park is beautiful and very nice atmospherically. They have saved trails and actually there are bunch of trails. They don't have a visitor center however, you can find the traditional al syamp in the hut. There is a small passport stamp box. Trails were nice and there are lots of them ;)
Very pretty park. Nicely set up with great signage. Plenty of parking. Even in the middle of winter, its a lovely place to visit.
