Veteran's Park

This park is on the small side. It has parking on the one side. There is a good amount of shade where the benches are, but none for the playground. There are also basketball and tennis courts. While this is small, the equipment that’s here is not at most playgrounds, so it’s worth the stop. No bathrooms but there is a water fountain.

Small and quaint little park in the middle of town. The playground equipment is newer and there is straw over the newly planted grass around the playground. There's a sidewalk that goes all the way around the park and there's a basketball court as well as 2 tennis courts there. The courts could stand to be upgraded or repaired. The landscape around the park is pretty, also, most of the sidewalk is shaded.

One of our favorite parks! Has four basketball goals on a court, a full-size tennis court, beautiful history to the park if you take time to read the sign, located in the historic neighborhood plenty of room for the children to walk around and play. Pathways of beautiful flowers, water fountain in park bench. The surrounding neighborhood is gorgeous, the original oread house is within view of the park as worded on the plaque. We absolutely love Veterans Park!

Very nice park. Lots of green open space, and right across the street from South Park, which is also large open and nice. Great area for picnics, Frisbee games, and such. Plus when you're done at the park, you're walking distance from all the shops and restaurants on Mass St.
