(from Google)Great park that features a small but well interpreted trail that describes the early Industrial history of East Lexington!
It's a good place to walk, and there's plenty of space for kids to have fun, and they also have a spot for barbecues.
Great place to spend a day with family. Variety of activities can be done right from fishing, swimming, kayaking to just relaxing and enjoying the nature. This is fully dog-friendly park. Picnic tables, Restrooms are available
I recently visited Jordan's Point for the first time while in Lexington. It was a delightful and almost hidden park that you should explore while in the area. Here you can access the River, hike some easy trails, and learn about the history of Lexington and this part of Virginia. Ruins of past engineering projects combine with natural beauty to create unique views and experiences. A definite visit while in Lexington.
What a beautiful place! Granted the day was perfect for being outside. My only wish is that it was warmer so we could jump in the Cool River. The water is Crystal Clear there's actually a little place that you could go swimming right before the damn! I'm definitely coming back here with my kids this summer and showing them a good time. The grounds we're well maintained and everything was nice and clean. There's also a nice little Sandy Beach area by the canoe ramp. I can't wait to come back here this summer.
