A true neighborhood park! Big open field, some nice tall trees for a shady picnic, paved walking path, and a fun looking playground. Street parking only, adjacent to a school.

I take my dog here becayse there is to s of room to run around, on both sides of the. I also come here because one special time every year, which is now springtime, mid-april an abundance of miner's lettuce grows everywhere. On both sides of the fence. Free nutritious and delicious food for everyone. With prices as high as they are now for food, I really don't understand why more people are not wild harvesting their food this time of year. There is so much abundance of healthy delicious free food all around us. This park is a good resource for miners lettuce. It is everywhere right now. And chickweed is also everywhere right now also. I suggest, if you've never heard of these foods that you look them up and familiarize yourself with them. I have a strong feeling that that this knowledge is going to become more vital as time goes on... And you're welcome.

This park used to be the park that my son and his friends met every Thanksgiving morning for their football game. They are now approaching 40 and too tired, but the park has become even more wonderful with the new play area. It is truly a family and community park.

Kirk park is very big field, has grass field for soccer, picnic area, two tables, (no BBQ grill) side walk thru the field, but for the longest time there was no playground for the little kiddos until (Nov. 9th 2020) the playground finally got built in and now all the neighborhood kiddos can enjoy this beautiful playground.
