(from Google)The city recently redid the playground and its amazing! There is both a big kid and toddler side and both sides have plenty of fun things to play with
They keep it clean and well maintained. No restroom but maybe that's a good thing it's kept vagrants away for years
I took the grandkids out to have a little fun in the sun. We enjoyed the park, they played on the swings, monkey bars, and ran around like kids do. The park was nice and clean, and the families that were there were nice. The park has a gigantic grass area, it's the perfect place to fly a 🪁 kite. The next time we go we'll definitely bring our kites and maybe the drone.
The park isn't terrible overall, but people don't pick up after their dogs and use it as an off-leash dog park, which is a little bit of a struggle when I walk my dog who is still being trained. Having dogs run up to us is startling for me and has my dog start to really disobey me trying to go play. I have been using it to train her to ignore and listen however. There is a lot of empty space and no restrooms. I wish they would add more to it, like a public pool or something.
Our dog has a few friends here. Not all the owners let their dogs off leash, but for those that do get along socially it is so much fun. Our dog loves running and playing with friends.
