Small playground set back from the road. Small winding walking trail thru "woods". No lights came on when it got dark. Porta potty, no bathroom. Google night sight pic at last light after sunset

Super cute security wasn't very present as well as there was construction going on when I was there if you go a little bit further in the woods it does feel a little bit unsafe mainly because of the cleanliness of the area I personally wouldn't go back if I was by myself it looked like someone had been living in the woods there's a couple of trails that are off the beaten path but if you do want to go exploring I would just say be careful because there are cactuses

Original review: This peaceful shaded park is a true hidden gem if you like getting out in nature. The trees are magnificent and resembles the East Coast. The porta potty was clean and not scary. I loved that all of the picnic tables had grills. This would be a lovely spot to relax with the family. The playground is small but enough to entertain the kids while you're having a picnic. Update: I am taking off a star because there isn't a spot for the adult to sit while the kids are playing on the playground. There should be at least one bench!

Walked the park trail and although it was very short, it was peaceful, mostly clean (some trash by the play ground), and appeared well-tended over all. I also walked a few of the random trails that people have added that are not on the trail map. Rocky but still easy to see. I don’t think running them would be a good choice. The only shortcoming with the whole park for me is that there’s a “creek” that runs thru it that apparently floods some with rain. Although the area wasn’t flooded for me, the stagnant water brought very sizable mosquitos.

Nice park tucked away in the neighborhood. Never had heard of it before thru the City of San Antonio Parks and Recreation. Saw it passing by and decided to check it out. Glad I stopped by. Will definitely have to go by when I have more time to enjoy and walk on the trail way. Almost hard to see from the road. Very peaceful, Nice tall trees for shade, trail way for walking or biking, small playground for children and picnic tables for eating or just to sit and enjoy nature around you.
