(from Google)1 star for cleanliness 1 star for no dirt and wood chips on the playground 🛝 1 star for toddler section, big kid section, & adult workout section. 1 star for all of the play structures having ramps for either strollers or wheelchairs -1 star for 🚨NO RESTROOMS🚨 the kids fell asleep and I knew they would have to use the restroom, took a look around and no restrooms. Turned around & went to Starbucks to use the restroom, then came back to the park.
Commodore Park in San Jose is a truly serene and welcoming environment, perfect for anyone looking to enjoy some time outdoors. The park offers a variety of recreational activities and amenities, making it a great spot for individuals and families to relax and unwind. With its picturesque setting and well-maintained grounds, Commodore Park is a popular destination for those seeking a peaceful retreat right in the heart of the city. Whether you're interested in taking a leisurely stroll, having a picnic, or simply soaking in the natural beauty, this park provides a tranquil escape for everyone to appreciate. There is a large area of empty unmaintained land nearby with the mile long trail along the Berryessa Creek. The trail seemed unsafe because of over 30 homeless tents along the way with several stray dogs and cats.
Really beautiful park, especially in the spring!! My son loves to play here!!! There are two sessions (one for young toddlers/ babies, the other for a bit older kids), but may not be fun for teenagers tho!! However, there is no bathroom here! There are parkings but it can get busy sometimes!!!
Not enough parking space is the reason that I gave four stars for this park. It only have 12 parking spaces for this popular neighborhood park that parents taking their young children to play here on the playground stratuses which included slay, swing sets and some climbing! There even have a smaller set for even younger kids to play, which was even nicer. Few simple exercise equipment also for folks to Keep up on their daily work out! You can a see all generations here! There are picnic tables with wheelchair accessible throughout the park but no restroom though! There will be some ice-cream trucks stop by all the time that try to score some business with the kids that playing here.
Cute cherry themed park. They have two play areas for toddlers and older kids. Also outdoor exercise equipment for older kids or adults.
