I went out on a quiet Saturday morning with my two daughters and it ended up being a great spot to practice flying without feeling rushed or crowded. The park itself is wide open with a smart layout that clearly feels designed for drones rather than being an afterthought. There are a few obstacles placed far enough apart to practice controlled movement and positioning which made it easy to work on basics while still keeping things interesting. When we were there it was completely dead which honestly made the experience even better since there was no pressure from other pilots or foot traffic. That said there are a couple downsides worth mentioning. The covered shaded area had a very strong urine smell and it was noticeable even standing several feet away with the wind moving. I could not tell if it was from a person or a dog but it was unpleasant enough that we avoided the area entirely. The parking lot is also in pretty rough shape with lots of wear and uneven spots so it is something to be aware of when pulling in. Overall it is a solid practice location with a lot of potential especially when it is quiet but it could use a little cleanup and maintenance to really shine.

What a great park! Not just “drone friendly”, this is a dedicated fpv/drone flying area, with several hardened course marker obstacles to fly through. I haven’t seen any planes yet, but I imagine someone has one.

Trash everywhere. High grass under obstacles. Obstacles not great for color challenged drone pilots.

Great place to fly with an open field. There is a course you can fly thru aswell. There is a awning to cover you from the sun. Bring something to drink. It can get hot out there. Overall great place to fly if you are a beginner.
