(from Google)This is my once a day spot for my furry son Mickey, its enclosed, and has the million dollar view that Treasure Island provides, hes made a few friends there, which is great , he needs that socializing, hes 10 months old and still goes potty like a girl doggy, hasnt learnrd to lift a leg yet!
Cute little park. It’s fully fenced in with 3 gates to get in but there’s plenty of warning signs to make sure people properly close the gates. There’s 1 picnic table inside but there’s a few pot holes, I’m guessing from other dogs digging around, so something just to be on the lookout for. It is right next to the ocean so it can get pretty windy and cold but the view is amazing and there’s a small park for kids to play around right next to the dog park. Although, I will warn the kid area isn’t super kid friendly haha, the obstacles are more for older kids as the only way to get to the slide is through a rope obstacle course. We went around 3pm on a Saturday and we fortunately had the whole park to ourselves! You can also walk by the water and there’s a whole bike trail around the island.
Arrive before dawn for boboriole and great photos.
This is an all time great spot to watch the sun set over the city. View of the Bay bridge, downtown SF, Alcatraz and the Golden Gate.
