(from Google)Have been coming to this park for years! Love the new playground that was installed. Much shade for a picnic or bringing the littles to play♥️
They redid the playground equipment, but didnt put in new monkey bars. They used soft, fake grass and nice new slides and stuff but we miss the monkey bars.
First time at this park. It was so beautiful! We had a picnic. The only thing that would make it better is if I lived in one of the houses I saw on the other side of the lake while I was walking.
This is the best park I found in the Tampa/Chapter Hill area. Boardwalk and walking path, Boat launch, fishing areas, lots of shade, picnic tables,nice neighborhood, dog friendly. Watch out for alligators coming across from the little island.
The boardwalk has many tribute plagues of special loved ones. The view is beautiful of the Hillsborough River. Very peaceful area. There are many benches to rest. Boat launching with a nice deck. Parking is free.
