The Dog BARKbers

Had a wonderful first experience with Corinne & Richard. My two Golden’s came in needing a much needed bath and one has hip dysplasia, the other not liking other dogs. They were supportive in tending to their needs and I’ve never felt my dogs more soft! He also accommodated by loading up my dogs in the back of my car in bringing out the iPad for me to pay since I had a newborn with me. Can’t say enough, good things, Looking forward to our next trip to the Barkbers!

I first met Corrine a couple of years ago at Home Depot while I was there with my then two-year-old cavapoo, Phoebe. She handed me her business card, which included a first-visit discount, and explained she had just opened her shop after many years of experience, including owning a grooming shop up north and running a mobile service. I thanked her and mentioned that I groom my own dog to save money. She complimented how great Phoebe looked, and I tucked her card away “just in case.” Fast forward to last December when I was short on time and decided to book an appointment with Corrine. I immediately appreciated that I didn’t have to leave my dog all day in a crate surrounded by barking dogs. Drop-off is right at the scheduled time, Corrine asks detailed questions about how you want your dog groomed, and she treats your pet like her own. She lets you know how long the appointment will take and even sends a text about 20 minutes before pickup, which is incredibly helpful. A few weeks ago, with December being especially busy, I brought Phoebe back again. Just like before, Corrine was thorough before, during, and after the appointment and keeps detailed notes for future visits. While I still groom Phoebe myself throughout the year, she always does wonderfully with Corrine. At pickup, Corrine pointed out a small lump near Phoebe’s anus that she felt was concerning. I made a vet appointment right away, and a fine needle aspiration revealed a small tumor. The jellybean-sized tumor was removed earlier this week, and Phoebe is now recovering while we wait for the pathology report. Our veterinarian is fairly confident the margins will be good. Thanks to Corrine’s attentiveness, this issue may not have been discovered until much later, and I am incredibly grateful. While I am not a professional groomer, I’ve spent many hours learning and practicing to groom my own dog, and I have the utmost respect for those who do this work professionally. Grooming truly is an art form, and Corrine’s skill, care, and compassion are exceptional.

The DogBarkbers is beyond amazing. I am a cat groomer but bring my personal dogs to them for grooming. They have such an extraordinary eye for detail and treat my dogs like their own. Corinne has amazing scissor skills which I am so jealous of and she is so quick as well. Scheduling is super easy and Corinne is very accommodating to my crazy schedule as well. I cannot recommend them enough and promise you will not be disappointed!

Highly recommend the dog barkbers, they were so good to my dog. Corinne is so sweet and you can tell she’s super passionate about her job. My pup has a heart murmur so he gets very overwhelmed when being around of a lot of dogs and this place came recommended to me. he also smelled so good when i picked him up! Will definitely be returning, thank you Corinne and Richard for treating my baby so well!!

The cutest place! I have the most nervous dog on earth and have never taken him to the groomer. Corinne got him in and he didn't seem stressed at all.. he was quite happy and wanting pets from the team at the end. He looks so dapper and clean. Would recommend to anyone, especially with a nervous dog. Wonderful groomer run by the nicest family
