Pet Supplies Plus Conway

Posting my husbands interaction- Pet Supplies plus - this morning called not once but twice to find out if I needed an appt to bring my dog in for a nail trim. I was told no appt needed - that in fact you cannot make an appt for a nail trim - great- I bring in my dog about 45 min later- I am then told that they cannot service my dog because they are in training- I explained that I had called earlier - the woman came back and after talking with the owner said they could trim my dogs nails- our dog is a German shepherd- I brought my dogs muzzle and asked the woman if she wanted the muzzle on him- the woman replied yes- she took my dog to the grooming station and attempted to have him step on the stainless steel table that was floor level. My dog stepped with his 2 front paws onto the table when the groomer said “I’m not going to be able to handle this dog - I’m stopping” WOW- I implore all potential customers to tread lightly when considering using this service at Pet Supplies Plus I am very concerned about the skill level of the groomer - who would not attempt to cut the nails of a muzzled dog. I cannot even imagine a complicated trim if nails can’t be cut. I told the owner that I would be doing a bad review and she said “it’s all been filmed” and I replied “ that’s all the more better which will prove my point” My dog was well behaved and muzzled- my dog is 7 years old - has had this procedure more times then I can count - and has never bit anyone- I brought the muzzle purely to use if it was mandated I didn’t want my dog using a store muzzle that’s been on a hundred other dogs. this is incompetence at the highest level! Proceed at your own risk.

These folks did a great job of grooming on my dog first time in, service was professional and courteous, price was reasonable. Our old groomer left town, but Pet Supplies Plus has replaced them just like that. Highly recommend!

Our senior dachshund, Kona loves spa day with Cici at Pet Supplies Plus in Conway. Cici is patient, gentle and kind and Kona is always happy to see her. All staff are pleasant and helpful during our visits. We recommend Pet Supplies Plus!

Been to 2 different locations and I'm impressed with this pet store chain. There fish section far out competes the PetSmart's and Petcos. Seems like they always have someone there that actually cares about fish and aquatic plants. Fish appear to be healthy and tanks look nice. Good aquatic plant choices. I’m so excited about having a pet supply store in Conway! This one is fantastic with a large variety of food, treats, toys, beds, leashes, collars, crates, and ON and ON! This store has a better supply than any store at the beach. The store is spacious and clean and includes 3 self serve pet washing stations, a groomer, and an area for cat adoptions through local cat rescues. They have a tremendous fresh and frozen pet food section for those feeding their dogs more than basic kibble. They even have a birthday section with party hats, etc for your fur baby’s big day! No need to drive to the beach for your pet supplies! You really need to see what this store has to offer!
