THE BEST PLACE!!! My sister's dog was attacked by another dog and so I brought little Mills in for a treat. The owner was beyond sweet and helpful - she offered sweet Mills treats + gave advice. on how to handle the situation going forward. Can't wait to bring Millie back on a normal day! If you're looking for an amazing, intuitive, empathetic groomer, you've found the right spot! If you're looking for a long-winded review, keep reading because I've got nothing but good things to say and plenty of them. I first found Deidre around 9 years ago when we adopted a senior Samoyed with Cushing's Disease and all the fur problems that comes with Cushing's (IYKYK). Deidre spoke with me at length on the telephone about my concerns (our dog clearly had come with some grooming-related trauma). My main concern and goal was to have a groom that would let our dog be comfortable in her own skin again. When we came in for our first appointment she gave me a full tour of the back of the shop, complete with aromatherapy, and explained every station that our dog would be using (this was when she was on Colfax). Our Samoyed LOVED going for soaks and grooms at The Wag Shop, and her coat and skin looked fantastic considering her health. After our Samoyed passed, it was some time before we needed a groomer again, but we recently started fostering a senior Yorkie and I knew just who to call. I had no idea if this Yorkie had any issues with grooming, and Deidre had me bring her in the very next day at no charge to see her reaction to the table, to the clippers, etc., and to assess what her coat would need. We did our first groom the next week and have been back for two more sessions. Deidre is kind, welcoming, funny, and warm, and our dog feels right at home with her. The whole shop is inviting with lots of great doggy treats and fashion accessories, and every other person AND dog I've seen in her shop clearly adores her. You will not regret booking her services, and your pup will thank you for it.

The wag shop is the absolute best. I have followed Deirdre around to all of her locations over the years, regardless of how far it is. She is the only person I trust to groom my (now) senior dogs. She is patient, caring, far more knowledgeable than my babies require. And her prices are shockingly affordable.

I work next door at the Organic Salon Denver and bring my lil Pom mix to work with me - Deirdre was able to get him in same day (miracle!) and omg y’all he looks so cute!! And historically homeboy has HATED going to the groomer, but he calmed right down in her space and was sooo happy to be freshly cut and washed. We will definitely be only coming here from now on! Thanks again!!

We discovered the Wag Shop while strolling through the neighborhood, and I’m so glad we did! Deidre is truly wonderful—she genuinely cares for every pet that walks through her door, and it absolutely shows. My dog has struggled with chronic skin allergies for some time now, and Deidre recommended an all-natural soothing shampoo that has made a noticeable difference. Now, whenever we’re near the shop, my dog pulls me toward it just to go say hi—she absolutely adores Deidre, as do I. If you're in the area, definitely stop in and meet her. She’s the kindest, and your pet will feel right at home.
