(from Google)Mayra worked on my medium-long haired tuxedo cat who got stressed and stopped grooming after we brought home a new kitten . She developed large hard matted clumps along her back and was in pain. Mayra did a great job and my cats coat is back to shiny and soft, her mood already improved and she looks amazing and happy again, thank you! Highly recommended
Terrible overall experience. To start, we walked in (no appointment) and the facility smelled like cat urine-a strong odor that was a definite "set in" smell-2 cats were free roaming between the front and back rooms where the dogs were being groomed, so I'm sure the cats were marking in both areas, which is unpleasant considering this is a grooming facility. The waiting room was also not very clean. They also never asked for my dogs vaccination records. They accepted our “walk in” and told us it would be around a 2 hour wait....2 hours later we call, and they stated that it would be another 2 hours at MAX... fine... ok... we are easy going... we then just show up 2 hours later (30 min before they close) and we were told, he is "getting dried." When I then verbalized my frustration in a very kind manner, the clerk immediately had an attitude and stated, "well we are busy on days like today." (Which is understandable, but at least give us a realistic time frame so we can plan our day around that or choose not to drop off...or even a curtesy call.) When I then proceeded to ask the clerk a new estimated time, I heard the woman in the back state, "I mean he's drying." ...like I'm supposed to understand what that means in relation to timeframe. And to top it all off, when the clerk finally calls (4 and a half hours later) he tells us, "he's a little damp, do you want to pick him up now or wait for him to dry?" His excuse of him being damp was because "he didn't like the dryer." I'm sure a majority of dogs don't necessarily enjoy the dryer, but they still get dried, including my dog multiple times before....I’ve never received this type of call. They didn’t complete the service, charged the full amount, changed the pick up time 3X, never apologized , and were completely rude. The cut was decent-no complaints there, but since there was such a strong cat urine odor, I’ll be rewashing him when I get home.
The customer service was beyond excellent! I have a young male German Shepherd along with an older female Dalmatian that I took later in the day to get groomed at this business today. Although I felt a little bad for taking my fairly large dogs there so late during the day, the people there were very welcoming, kind, and patient. They really took their time with my dogs so that they came out looking great. I especially appreciated that they were sensitive to my Dalmatian's needs. She's an older dog who was rescued from Hurricane Katrina, and she still gets spooked when she is among new people and new surroundings. On top of that, she is quite fragile for being such an old dog, and I believe they treated her with extra consideration and care so that she wouldn't hurt herself. Thank you Best Friends Groomers for your patience, consideration, and a job well done!
I just wanted to write this review on Best Friends Grooming/Bark N Style Mobile Grooming because I have been a client for over 10 years now! I highly recommend this establishment to any over protective pet owner. They will not only groom your pet with expertise and precision, but also with the TLC you want for your pet. My Lhasa Apso had a couple of bad experiences with other groomers until I brought her to Best Friend’s Grooming. Every time we arrived for her appointment, she was happy to walk and sometimes run in, which was her way of telling me everything was okay! As she began to age (13 years old), I switched from taking her into the shop to the mobile grooming Bark N Style which is a service also provided. I really appreciate the mobile grooming because of the convenience and my pet’s limitations. Myra always groomed her since then until she crossed the “Rainbow Bridge” a couple of months ago. Her expertise and love for dogs always reassured me that Trinket was always treated with the TLC that she required. The mobile grooming service was truly the ultimate service for me (the over protective pet owner). The price is very reasonable. They drive up. You carry your dog to the mobile unit and wallah! She returns them to you clean and beautiful! I have another Lhasa Apso who has been groomed by Myra for five years now! I've always been very happy with their services! You feel like part of their family as they drive up or when you bring them into the shop! And, they truly care about the dogs they groom.
Worst Place Ever!!!!!! Very unprofessional.... My wife and I made sure to call ahead to see how much it would cost to get our dog groomed. They told us it wasn't going to be over $35 for our little dog who is under 5 pounds... When we went to pick him up they made ridiculous excuses and said it was going to cost us $50!!!! I wouldn't have minded paying that, but for the poor haircut wasn't worth it. They didn't really cut his face well or his paws. Our neighbor said they us to charge her $30 and as he golden retriever got bigger the cost was $50. So why was ours the same price of a full grown big dog when ours is the size of his head? AWFUL!!!! DON'T EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS PLACE!
