The Downtown Hound

The Downtown Hound has taken care of my fur kids a few time now, grooming each of my dogs twice and doing a sani shave on my kitty. All three pets have yet to complain about their service provider or their fur styles and the tech seems to genuinely enjoy my floofs. One dog is a little old lady who with past groomers would have to be done in isolation due to stress and the kitty had never been to the groomers as she is a stray we adopted. Here at The Downtown Hound, all have been done in the main area with no issues. And the groomer even praised how well they did. It's a very friendly environment and you can tell they have a big heart for all their fuzzy clients.

We first started seeing Amanda almost 5 years ago. She helped our mini schnauzer become comfortable with being groomed, and worked so hard with her to accomplish that. We are forever grateful for her kindness towards our pup. After moving out of state I am finding that a groomer of her caliber is very difficult to come by. I highly recommend Amanda, her love for animals, and most adorable salon!

I have been using the services of Downtown Hound for many years. My sweet pups always look great and smell good too. I appreciate the friendly service and quality job. This is my go to place hopefully for many years to come.

I love bringing my little dog here. Sushi always is so excited to go and he looks so great after! He had a few negative experiences with other groomers, but they’re always so good to him here and they really take good care of him. 🩷 I love the way he smells when he comes back and the little photo shoots they do for him. These ladies really know their way around a dog!! They’ve groomed every dog I’ve ever had, and they’re absolutely stunning with my silly dog Wanda. I’ve been going to Amanda for years and she’s completely mastered her craft! If you’re looking for a down to earth and reliable groomer, you’ve found your spot. Big, small, long haired, short haired, crazy or not; Amanda and Paige have perfectly handled every dog I’ve brought to them easily. The only folks I trust with my dogs.
