Jo-Mar Grooming & Boarding

I personally have not used them but today my daughters and I were driving through the neighborhood and we saw one of the workers walking a beautiful golden husky looking dog. Well the dog was sniffing around and clearly looking for a spot to use the bathroom and the walker was just frustrated and just kept pulling the dog. He did it 3 times in the matter of time it took us to turn on to Covert Ave and pass Jo-Mar. My daughters and I were upset to see the treatment of the dog so we went in to say our concerns and the man behind the counter just kind of laughed us off. I’m putting this out there because though I know people have bad days and dogs can be a bit much sometimes but if I boarded or groomed my dog there I would be highly upset to see them treated like that.

I never really had issues with this place in the past, but the last time I went the business was completely closed during the drop off period. Another lady and I were waiting outside to drop off our dogs for their scheduled cleaning. I was on my way to work and either would have had to turn around and take my dog home or wait. I decided to wait. It took an employee 15 minutes to show up. When I asked what was going on they just told me they didn't know, they weren't working today. But they did let us in. There had been someone in the back, but they were not answering the phones or opening the door. I let my dog get groomed since we were already there. No discount was offered, not even a sorry was given. I was a late for work and will not be returning. I am not typically one to write reviews, but they seem to be making cold calls and I think they should know why they may be losing some business.

My Bulldog just went to this place today for a bath and nails and they really took care of them. He has a bulldog so he needs special attention and they really cater to it. I couldn’t be happier. He smells great. He’s soft and they were very understanding and professional I will definitely be coming back.

We were nervous about boarding our bulldog because we've had negative experiences in the past at other places.. This place was absolutely amazing and Cathy who's a bulldog and all around dog lover was totally fantastic with our dog. It put my mind at ease while we were away for 2 weeks. We had photos and updates sent to us and he was groomed as well. Thank you Jo Mar staff and Cathy! 💕

My dogs Kona the husky and Tiki the mix love Jo-Mar they get tons of attention and time in the kiddie pool and get their daily walks and lots of love - plus they come home smelling delicious after the bath they receive- I would highly recommend for overnight boarding -
