Brea is an expert groomer on Handstripping my Wire Fox Terrier and grooming my Wheaten! She transforms them each time to the breed standard cut and I could not be happier!!!! I recommend her highly!!!!!!! So blessed to have her taking care of my boys!!!!!

I am beyond disappointed by my recent experience with Ruff Edges. I had been a loyal customer of Andrea for about six years, trusting her/the salons to take care of my dog, but that trust has been completely shattered. During her last grooming appointment, the groomer cut my dog’s ear in half—an injury so severe that her ear couldn’t be saved. What’s even more appalling is that they didn’t say a single word about it. They sent her home as if nothing had happened, covering the cut with my poor dog’s long hair, thus leaving me completely unaware of her injury. I discovered the cut a week later and had to rush her to the emergency animal hospital at 1 a.m. on New Year’s. She has been in immense pain and suffering ever since, all because of their negligence and complete lack of communication. The animal hospital said that this slice in her ear was 100% caused by a grooming event. I even got a second opinion from our Vet because I was in shock that nothing was said after I had been using Andrea to cut Valli for 6+ years. This emergency Vet said nothing else could have caused a slice this clean and deep other than being groomed. The Vet also said that there was zero chance this gash was not bleeding, and there must’ve been some type of surgical glue applied to stop the bleeding. If we had been told at the time this occurred, we could have taken Valli to the animal hospital, and her ear could’ve been saved. She not only suffered for an entire week before we noticed but also suffered after because the strong antibiotics made her have zero appetite and messed up her GI tract. Ruff Edges’ behavior is not just careless—it’s inexcusable. After years of being a loyal customer, I never expected such disregard for my pet’s safety and well-being. We spoke with Andrea about the situation and got no real answers; she said she would check on Valli, but no call was returned. It has now been five days. Their incompetence and lack of accountability are dangerous and unacceptable. Use at your own risk. I have included some pictures of her ear as well as her before the incident in the sweater.

We had a wonderful experience at Ruff Edges! Zelda (my cocker spaniel) was done within 2 hours looking and smelling so fresh. They gave her the exact style I had asked for. Very satisfied! The owner and groomer (Morgan) were so kind and even offered me some great suggestions and referrals for her ear problems she has been having. This team really goes above and beyond.
