Bark Avenue PDX

When I tell you my dog LOVES bark avenue, she loves it. We started coming when she was 5 months old and now she cries as soon as we’re within a mile of daycare. Tilly has boarded here (which was actually so great and so reasonable on pricing) for a week, been groomed by sunshine, and regularly attends day care. Everyone here is SO kind, their prices are reasonable. Not to mention Tilly comes back EXHAUSTED as I’m told she plays hard lol. 😂 Most of all Tilly has been SAFE which is my biggest concern since she’s small. I couldn’t say enough positives about bark avenue and recommend it to everyone I know.

Sunshine grooms my little rescue girl, Penney, and she’s an artist! Penney always comes out looking exceptionally beautiful and always happy while she’s with Sunshine. Prices are in range with other salons which, when normalized over a two hour (or a bit more) time period is appropriate for the skilled result obtained. Haven’t used their boarding service but will if needed especially since they provide human oversight 24/7.

We started daycare and boarding with BarkAve at the end of this summer, and our 2.5 year old pup Cinnamon LOVES it! We were looking for a new doggie daycare and we've had such a great experience here. We needed to board Cinnamon just a few weeks after we started there and she adjusted so well, and I think that's largely due to the fact that the management and staff are wonderful at helping pups adjust. We love that someone stays with the dogs overnight and has a slumber party, that makes being away from our fur babies a little easier knowing they're snuggled in at night instead of locked in a crate all alone like a lot of boarding places do. Cinnamon absolutely loves daycare at BarkAve as well and all of the staff have a genuine care for the doggos. If you check out the pics I've shared you'll see our pups happy face from playing all day! When we pull up to the parking lot Cinnamon gets excited and pulls me until we get to the door! She always comes home so happy from her days playing with her friends. The management and staff are wonderful, which is what I think makes this place so special. We never like being away from our fur kiddos, but if we have to this is the spot to take them to.

We absolutely love Bark Avenue! The staff are kind and amazing people that love animals. We have an Aussiedoodle and he has been going to Bark Ave since he was a few months old. I've toured a few other dog daycares and Bark Ave differs because it doesn't have too many dogs, has an outside play area and offers kennel free boarding that has a worker there with them at all times. They also have an amazing grooming staff and are so good with all breeds. Their prices are very competitive and it's always my first recommendation for a tired or groomed dog. We started bringing our young dog here for grooming with a recommendation from a friend. He isn’t always easy to handle and can be difficult to understand for some people. Sunshine and the rest of the staff have been so kind and want to get to know him. They have noticed so many of his quirks and the best ways to work with him. Highly recommend for grooming and daycare. The other day I was in a difficult situation and when I called they were super accommodating and helped me figure out a plan with ease. Thankful for them!!
