PetSmart Grooming

I had two grooming appointments today for our dogs, with confirmed reservations. When I arrived, Brittany M. refused to groom one of our dogs, citing PetSmart's policy against grooming dogs due to her ACL history. The problem is none of that applied. She was not limping, was not in pain, and was fully weight-bearing. It's all on the salon's cameras! I've been coming here for two years without a single issue until today. To make it worse, her appointment wasn't even with Brittany M., it was with another groomer (Katrina K.), who was never given the chance to speak or make her own call. When we pushed back, Brittany M. interrupted me repeatedly and refused to reconsider. She then also refused to groom our other dog, who has no medical issue at all, simply because she didn't want to. A manager got involved, saying that she can decline if she wants to. Looking at other reviews in the same store, this doesn't seem to be an isolated incident with this employee

We took our dogs to get groomed at this location and Brittany M. refused to groom our diabetic dog who has a glucose sensor. Brittany M. indicated it’s a petsmart specific policy to not groom dogs with diabetic sensors. However, that is not true. I could not locate any specific policy petsmart has concerning this device, and it is up to the groomer to make that decision. But Brittany M. decided to turn us away and blame it as a company policy, instead of just saying they were not comfortable doing it. We have never had an issue with any other petsmart location and every other groomer has told us they did not want to be liable for damaging the sensors as they’re expensive but have still worked with us by providing a hair cut and no bath, as only water would damage it and the area around the sensor is already shaved down, so Brittany M. would have not have even needed to go near the sensor. Very disappointing since we have used petsmart grooming services for so long and have never had a bad experience until the interaction with Brittany M.

We stopped by today to get our first hamster for my son. Sam was incredibly helpful! She helped guide us through all the things we would need, the pros and cons of hamster ownership and things we should watch out for. We left feeling much more confident we could take care of this animal and provide a good home. Will definitely return here for anything we need, everyone here was really great!

We brought my sister in law’s Pomeranian, Chiki in for a bath & haircut & nail trim. For the life of me I can’t remember the young lady’s name, Cassandra maybe, but she did an amazing job and little Chiki looks amazing!! Thank you so much!! I told her to work her magic and she definitely followed thru 🥰 His groomer’s name was Katrina

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. They shaved my dogs fur and gave her scabs all over her body. Whoever groomed her should be fired. Also they took over 4 hrs to complete her. She had diarrhea and vomit induced from anxiety of being there so long though I told them to make it quick since she is old. If you want your dog to be taken care of properly do not take them here. They did refund me but won’t do much as I have to take her to the vet er bcs she was sooo off after this appointment that I thought I was going to have to put her down. I paid $1300 for the er visit and for them to send me home with a “this behavior is likely anxiety induced”. Check out the scabs they gave her
