Le Petite Pooch - Sun City

First time taking my super anxious Goldendoodle and they made it a breeze and also made him feel safe and comfortable. Glad it was recommended to me, We will keep coming.

Our Lily loves Chris! He has been grooming Lily for a couple years. She always comes out looking and smelling great! Very punctual and timely service!

I've taken my dogs a few times to the Sun City location for nail trims, they've always been great with them. Yesterday when we arrived one of our dogs started having a seizure outside, something they had not had before. One of the employees came out (I'm afraid in the chaos I did not get her name) and she was SO lovely helping me and my husband to deal with the situation, she kept calm, gave us clear and helpful instruction when we were both a bit in shock. Thank you!

My wife has been bringing Beau to you all for quite a while now, but she has disclosed to me that the groomer seemed to have an attitude even before the conversation started today. My wife was asking, could she leave the hair a little longer if possible, vs shaving the dog down to where it’s just a quick easy. If there is a communication issue, I will quit sharing their services with my neighbors in the Sun City! Follow up after my phone call with the owner, and I shared my displeasure and rudeness ! I asked Chris ( owner) what do you suggest? Chris said very forceful to pick up the dog and discontinue a business relation going forward! Chris statement was your dog is matted and not mannered! He had a few knots and not matted like a caged up animal! He is an inside house pet with no barking or aggressive behavior! Attached is the pic 10 minutes after my wife picked Beau up! No customer service or manners at all. They do what they want and not what the customer requests!!

I expected better from a place that charges a premium price for a small/ medium dog. And I really expected an educated groomer when it came to double coated dogs. Brought in my Aussie for a bath and cut, and he came back SHAVED! I specifically said shorter than last time and thought they would know and have common sense to how short an Aussie can have their hair especially here in sunny FL. When I went to pick up my dog, there were a bunch of people waiting to pick up their dogs and others to drop their dogs off. I didn’t want to make a scene or embarrass the employees in front of everyone so I payed and left a 20% tip then I left the store and called the store from my car on the way home as I was crying. Asked to speak to the manager but he was away so I had to speak to the groomer. The groomer said it was my fault that she had a miscommunication when it came to the hair cut and that when people ask for short cut in Aussies, that they all get shaved down! I was baffled to say the least! We won’t be going back here ever again.
