Camp K-9

We've been boarding our dogs here for years, when we travel out of town. The staff are very accommodating & notify us of any potential concerns, which have been both reasonable & reassuring. I always search the facebook page to see if they've shared a picture of my dogs, but I never see them. If there's an opportunity to post individual pictures a day, that would be reassuring. Thank you for the great care!

After research of numerous facilities, trainers, referrals, and meetings we chose camp k9 for my boy Link. We are in a different state, but wanted the best fit for him, and found that Nick and the rest of the camp K9 employees were perfect for him. The end goal is for Link to be my service dog so confidence and comfortability in all situations is an absolute must, but something he was lacking in. He has come so far with Nick's help and I can't wait to see where he is at when training is over. He is home for a much needed haircut and booster shot, but will be headed back to camp soon, and I have no doubt will be excited to see all his friends.

This facility is amazing! The staff are so good with animals and kind and communicative. Nick the head trainer has helped my dog become an amazing service dog in training. If I have an issues I trust camp k9 to help my dog become the best version of herself!

I am the principal of a small elementary school in North Idaho, and we recently decided that adding a therapy dog would be a great support for our students and school community. Alicia Hall, a certified trainer at Camp K9, has been instrumental in making this vision a reality. She evaluated several puppies to help me select the right candidate, and our dog is now well on his way through training to become a certified school therapy dog. Part of his training includes regular exposure to our school and students, and I have been absolutely blown away by the excitement from students, staff, and families. It’s been amazing to see the positive impact he’s already having on our students and overall school culture. Alicia’s expertise and skill are evident in how quickly he is progressing, and she has been wonderful to work with; very hands-on, communicative, and supportive throughout the entire process. Every interaction I’ve had with Camp K9 has been professional and centered on creating a safe, loving environment for the dogs. Their facility is exceptionally clean, and it’s clear that their training and boarding procedures prioritize the safety and well-being of the dogs in their care. A wonderful place for your K9! We boarded our 16 month old lab with Camp K9 for a few days. The experience was amazing from drop off to pick up. They provided daily updates of how our dog was doing with pictures. This was the first time we boarded our dog and we were a bit nervous, but camp K9 reassured us and put our minds at ease.
