Great food and a great view. Has a varied menu. Portions are big. The mojitos had very little alcohol.

Great atmosphere, but the service was disappointing. Our food took about an hour and a half to arrive. We asked the waitress to check on our order, and although she seemed aware of the long wait, she never apologized or explained the delay. The music was fantastic, just a little too loud, which made it hard to have a conversation with anyone at the table.

This place used to be absolutely amazing. The atmosphere remains cool...but that’s it. The food was consistently amazing when it first opened. But in the last year or so…the service is atrocious. I waited for an appetizer for almost an hour. I just cancelled and walked out. Zero accountability. The waitress was super rude. Terrible experience. Won’t be back.

Sunday afternoon after beach day. Food was exquisite. Risotto with churrasco, and Dorado with majado de viandas. Drinks were good as well. Service with a smile of course.

If you go to the Puntilla area in Arecibo you will find many places to eat and have a good time. At Amapola you will find good food and ambience. Maybe the service for us (we were 4) was not the best. The server was new and barely knew what she was doing and the fact that the food took forever didn’t help at all to our overall experience. After all we enjoyed the view the music and probably will give them another chance. There’s parking around the area but not access to wheelchairs.
